hey fellow soulpreneur,
I'm Lydia, founder of the astrabrand™ method
I have 10+ years of experience in the Brand & Design field, starting my career in Brand Marketing while earning my MA in Web Design.
Over the years, I’ve held a number of different positions ranging from designing for prestigious brands myself to collaborating with Creative Directors at the top Fortune 500 companies around the globe.
In 2020, my love for astrology started to run deep. I learned how to read Astrological Natal Charts and started reading charts for clients in my spare time. Ironically, I got just as many compliments on my website than interest in Astrology itself.
Flash forward to 2023 and it finally hit me... what if I combine my two passions of Astrology and Design into a dreamy offering?
Enter the AstraBrand™ Method, where I partner with soulpreneurs to infuse the essence of who they are and what they do into their Brand & Design.
the timeline of my story
2013
Started my first job in brand marketing & became obsessed with design, learning on the job and taking any second I could to learn about design tools and concepts.
2015
Earned my Master of Arts degree in Writing, Rhetoric & Media aka how to translate complex concepts into simple design.
2016
Started working at a company where I partnered with Creative Directors who built brands and design approach for the largest Fortune 500 companies.
2020
My love for Astrology started to run deep. I learned how to read Astrological Birth Charts and started reading charts for free on a word-of-mouth basis.
2021
I started doing Astrology readings officially for clients and I ended up getting more compliments on my website than interest in readings.
mar 2023
My time in the corporate world came to an end and I decided that I wanted to create a life that fuels me and that I don't have to escape from.
apr-sept 2023
I experimented with a lot of business ideas but nothing was really sticking all while the Universe was constantly nudging me toward design.
oct 2023
I had my "aha" moment of weaving my years of experience with Brand & Design together with my love of Astrology and created the AstraBrand™ Method.
nov 2023
I booked my first official client one month after starting Lydia Capps Design Co.

fun facts about lydia
I'm an Aquarius Sun and Moon, Scorpio Rising and a 6/2 Emotional Projector.
When I turned 30, I had a Spiritual Awakening that quite literally rocked my world but also helped me to transition from living a life based on pleasing others to a life that was created from my own desires
I grew up in the Midwest, lived in the South for almost 10 years, and have now lived in California for almost 10 years — I’ve had the pleasure of meeting so many people from all different walks of life
Some of my favorite things to do involve the beach — sunset walks, ocean dips, soaking up the sun on the warm sand
Psychedelic mushrooms is a healing and growth tool that has helped me cultivate more gentle self-love
Health and wellness are part of my identity — I LOVE cooking nourishing meals that make me feel amazing, hosting friends around our table for a meal, and I even got my health coaching certification back in 2019.
There is no “woo-woo” topic that is off-limits for me. Aliens? Yes, please. Channeling angels? Uhuh. Astrology girly? Reporting for duty. Daily tarot card pulls? Obviously.
